Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet PS5, editions, and platforms
What is confirmed for PlayStation 5, and what is still only a rumour.
PlayStation’s product page for Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet lists one platform: PS5. The release date field says to be confirmed. That is the entire official hardware story. This guide exists because search traffic still asks about PC, Xbox, and a PlayStation 6 launch title. Those questions deserve a straight answer, not a hedge.
Confirmed: PlayStation 5, single-player
Naughty Dog is a Sony studio. The announcement, the store copy, and every Druckmann interview since December 2024 describe a PS5 game. The campaign is a single-player action-adventure. There is no drop-in partner mode, no live-service map, and no cross-play slide. A second DualSense will not unlock a second hunter. If you are buying a console for this campaign, buy a PS5. DualSense support is not in a feature list yet, but it is the default input for a 2020s Naughty Dog game: adaptive triggers, haptics, and a speaker for close-range blade hits. 3D audio and an accessibility suite are reasonable expectations based on The Last of Us Part I and Part II Remastered. They are still expectations, not patch notes.
Not confirmed: PC, Xbox, PS6, cloud
Sony has not announced a PC port. Older Naughty Dog games did reach Steam and Epic years after console launch, but 2026 reporting around first-party strategy has been colder toward simultaneous PC releases of story campaigns. Do not schedule a GPU upgrade around Intergalactic. Xbox and Nintendo platforms are not in the materials. Cloud streaming depends on PlayStation’s own subscription rules, which can change and are not unique to this title.
A PS6 launch-window rumour is just that. The game is being built and marketed as a PS5 exclusive. Cross-generation talk will only matter if Sony prints it. Until then, what we know stays PS5-only.
Editions, ratings, and languages
No standard, deluxe, or collector edition is for sale. ESRB currently shows RP (Rating Pending) on the US store. PEGI and other boards will follow a code once review copies exist. Naughty Dog has hired localisation and language QA covering, among others, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Arabic, Portuguese, Thai, and Russian. That is a production signal, not a public language list. There is no fidelity-versus-performance slide. There is no official gigabyte number.
