Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet Sempiria, the silent planet
What official copy actually says about the world Jordan cannot leave.
Sempiria is the board. Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet does not start as a galaxy hop. It starts as a crash onto a world that stopped talking. Official PlayStation copy says communication with the outside universe went dark hundreds of years ago, and that nobody has left Sempiria’s orbit in over 600 years. Anyone who flew close hoping to learn why was never heard from again. Jordan A. Mun arrives as a hunter, then has to become a castaway.
This page keeps the planet in one place so the story primer can stay about faith and the trailer breakdown can stay about shots.
What you can see
The announcement film shows a rust-red world, a bright atmospheric ring, and a shattered moon whose fragments spiral in orbit. A Porsche-branded ship approaches. Later, a surface path looks like misty woodland, not only chrome corridors. A cockpit HUD stares at the same moon from inside the glass. Those three images — orbit, cabin, fog — are the visual kit. Naughty Dog has not published a political map, a city name, or a climate chart. Do not invent one.
The 1986 scripture on screen is dated to the timeline split, not to a medieval carving. Advanced spaceflight already exists in this universe by then. Sempiria’s religion grew for thousands of years after that split, then went quiet. Druckmann has said the writers built that history before many levels were locked. The heretic prophet belongs to that history. The name of the prophet is still studio-side.
Why the planet is a mechanic
If nobody leaves, every resource, every robot, and every ruin has to support a campaign that cannot radio home. Isolation is not flavour. It is why gameplay talks about a missing companion. It is why AJ’s warning in the trailer is a eulogy as much as advice. A world that kills visitors is also a world that can hide a syndicate. Colin Graves is near the Sempirian moon. That is the only official geographic pin for the Five Aces.
Hostile robots with beam weapons are the only enemy type confirmed on camera. They may be leftover industry, temple guards, or something the religion built. Naughty Dog has not said. Treat “ancient Sempirian war machines” as a guess until a bestiary exists.
What Sempiria is not
It is not Earth with a filter. It is not a Last of Us quarantine zone. It is not an Uncharted island you leave on a boat in the epilogue — the whole fantasy is that leaving might be impossible. Fake plot documents that import alien harvests or a messiah returning to Earth were called out as unverified in 2024. This wiki still ignores them.
If you are here because a thumbnail promised a “Sempiria lore dump,” the dump is short on purpose. The useful next reads are the story primer, the first look, and how to prepare if you just wanted to know whether the planet is a setting you can play on a PS5 yet. It is not. The store page is still to be confirmed. The release tracker is the calendar. This page is the dirt and the moon.
