Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet The Five Aces

The syndicate, Colin Graves, and what is actually confirmed about the crew.

Last updated:

Five Aces

The Five Aces are the legendary crime syndicate at the centre of Jordan A. Mun’s bounty. Official announcement copy says she is tracking them when she becomes stranded on Sempiria. The trailer names one target out loud: a man hiding around the Sempirian moon. Fans and later reporting identify him as Colin Graves, portrayed by Kumail Nanjiani.

That is the solid core. Almost everything else about the Aces is still a credit list, not a dossier. Treat this page as a briefing that will grow, not as a finished gang wiki.

Colin Graves

Graves is the contract that makes AJ panic. He is close to a planet nobody leaves. Jordan wants him claimed before another hunter files. Nanjiani is visible in the trailer; the resemblance is not subtle. Whether Graves is a traitor, a prisoner, a pilgrim, or bait is not official. Do not import the fake leak that recasts the whole syndicate as a Heart of Darkness parable. The story primer explains why those documents were called out.

Other names on the call sheet

Tony Dalton, Ashley Scott, and Stephen A. Chang have been described in reporting as playing members of the Five Aces in leading roles. Dalton, known for Better Call Saul, said Intergalactic is his first video game and called Naughty Dog’s capture stage unlike anything he had done. Druckmann offered him the part after directing him in an episode of The Last of Us on HBO. Ashley Scott previously played Maria in the Last of Us games. Stephen A. Chang played Jesse in Part II. None of those past roles tell you their Ace names. When Sony prints those names, they will land here and on the cast page together.

Why five? The title of the group is the only number we have. It may be five living members, five founders, or five myths. Do not pad this section with guessed callsigns.

How the Aces connect to Sempiria

The official chain is simple: Graves is near Sempiria, Jordan follows, Jordan is stranded, Jordan must understand a planet whose religion went dark. The syndicate might be hiding in the ruins of that faith, exploiting it, or running from it. Naughty Dog has not said. The gameplay page only confirms robots as on-screen enemies, which means the Aces could be allies, bosses, or voices on a radio for long stretches. Isolation is the design brief. A full party of five walking beside Jordan would contradict it.

What to read around this page

  • Jordan A. Mun — the hunter on their trail.
  • Cast — every confirmed performer, including those whose Ace status is unconfirmed.
  • Trailer breakdown — the conversation that puts Graves next to the forbidden planet.
  • Updates — where a future showcase would first name the rest of the crew.

Until a gameplay trailer shows an Ace in motion, the honest description is: a famous syndicate, one named bounty, three additional performers associated with the group, and a planet that makes the job suicidal. If a later showcase names the remaining two, this page should gain two short bios and nothing else — no invented ranks, no fake wanted posters. The news log is where that credit will appear first. Patience is part of covering a syndicate that Naughty Dog still wants in silhouette.
